Simatree had the pleasure of hosting future consultants, data scientists, and software engineers for Take Your Child to Work Day. The day started with a daily “stand up” meeting to lay out priorities for the day and then was filled with discussions about AI, “networking” over lunch on the patio, and a scavenger hunt!
Below, the team has already “logged in” for the day and is starting a meeting about the fun and pitfalls of AI.
This discussion lead to break-out groups where Simatree staff led the children on exploring generative AI through the combined use of ChatGPT and DALL-E. A photo was taken of each child, fed into ChatGPT to develop a visual description of the person in the photo, and then was inputted into DALL-E to develop a caricature-style photo. Some kids also had a little fun with picking their caricature doing an activity or against a unique background.
